Whether you’re planning logistics for your event or need more details about our spaces, you can find most of what you need below.
Please contact us below and we’ll be in touch soon.
Each house can sleep 16 people. If you book all 4 houses, they can host 64 people total.
If you’re hosting a smaller wedding and don’t need to rent all 4 houses, just be aware that you won’t be guaranteed exclusive use of the property all weekend—just on your wedding day itself.
Our existing outdoor shelter can fit up to 50-60 guests standing, and is not fully enclosed. If you have a large group, we strongly recommend that you rent a tent in case of inclement weather.
Absolutely—but we do require that you have a licensed bartender at all times.
No—if you book us as a wedding venue, the celebration will need to be held outside. We provide one toilet trailer for day guests; depending on headcount, you may want to book more.
We don’t have any required vendors—however, we’re happy to share a list of trusted local caterers, wedding planners, rental companies, and more.
No. To rent the venue for a wedding, you’ll need to book at least one house for a minimum 2-night rental.
No smoking, vaping, or e-cigarettes on the property. Flower petals and confetti are not permitted, and neither are fireworks of any kind.
Each house has 5 bathrooms - we recommend limiting those to house guests only. With each wedding package, your guests will have access to use of a restroom trailer on the property.
If you haven’t rented all 4, you may be sharing the communal outdoor areas with other groups.
There are 4 dedicated spaces per house, and shared overflow space. If you drive an EV, you’ll be happy to know that we have Tesla-style chargers (bring your own adapter if you need one).
No need to space your showers out. You can run several showers at the same time after a chilly day on the slopes or a muddy hike.
The Sandy River is fed by glaciers, and it’s cold. It’s also fast-moving, and we don’t recommend swimming or wading outside of low-flow season in summer. (By the way, summer is also the perfect time for floating the river in an inner tube or raft!)
and reasonable cell service. It’s a remote location, after all! But we do have stable wifi on the property.
We charge $25 per pet per night. We ask that you clean up after them on the grounds and be aware that we are on a community trail that can be accessed by other pets.
In each house, you’ll find children’s books and toys, as well as kid-sized dinnerware. We’ve also set up guards on the fireplaces. However, we don’t have cribs or pack-and-plays, so you’ll need to supply your own.
Families especially love Sandy River Getaway because there’s plenty of room for kids to run and play, whether it’s indoors or out. Just keep an eye on them near the water, as it can be fast-moving.
